New trial: Chinese Epigraphy Database = 中国金石总库

Princeton users now have trial access to 中国金石总库.

Work on the Chinese Epigraphy database started in 2016 under the auspice of the Chinese Archaeologist Su Bai. It is structured in two parts, one on bronze and one on stone inscriptions. At this moment, the database covers some 80,000 entries (18,000 bronze inscriptions and 63,000 stone inscriptions) not all of which do yet have full entries and images in the database. Each full entry comes with a high-resolution image of a rubbing of the inscription. Trial access is limited to a selection from each of the different sub-categories of the database.

Please note: This database will only work correctly if you allow pop-ups for the website of the database. Otherwise, the database will not correctly identify you as a Princeton user.
